A couple of issues with your logic. Fist, Homosexual relations are an abomination in terms of hegemonic masculinities. A foundation with which masculinity is characterized and perpetuated by the institution of heterosexuality. As such homosexuality creates its own context of diversity, as the “dichotomy” presented by homosexuality would not exist with out hegemonic masculinity. Also, homosexuality is related to sex only. not gender. You through your description are a subscriber of binary engenderment. Ie two genders. Gender is not however truly dependent on sex, native american cultures african culture and east indian all have multiple genders. Therefore within a homo or same-sex marriage there is room for much diversity. Unless that is a person is so subjected to normative cultural boundaries that they cannot allow for such diversification. Which, lets be honest a straight person is much more likely then a gay person.
