Fashion 2015: The Year Of The Penis

Naked male fashion models are increasingly showing up on runways around the world. This is one fashion trend heartily endorsed here at GayPornBlog.

One of the more diverse shows during New York Fashion Week was that of “Marco Marco Collection” who featured models, ballet dancers, drag queens, queens, and more than a handful of porn stars in tight fitting neon undergarments. Hmmmm, now who might be shaking their tush on the catwalk …

While nudity is much less a big deal in Europe, the Spanish accessory brand “Madrid 2005” made headlines last spring by showcasing their high-end line on fully nude, and totally fuckable man candy.

Rick Owens played a game of penis peek-a-boo during his menswear Fall/Winter 2015 show in Paris last January. Halfway through the show pantless male models came down the catwalk and continued to wobble for the duration. This did prompt to wonder if, “2015 is the year of the penis?” They should stick around GayPornBlog where’s it been the Year of the Penis since 2004!

After all, isn’t the point of getting dressed is getting undressed? Drake Jaden and Ricky Sinz sure think so.

A little naked trivia …
The male nude reached its peak in the 19th century, when male art models were much easier and cheaper to come by than female ones. A common theme in European art history of that period is also that many female models who posed nude were girlfriends, wives or mistresses of the artist himself, whereas male nudes were for-hire and often only used as an anatomical basis for religious iconography.
