“Duck Dynasty” Creator’s Gay Porn Connections
Earlier today, Buzzfeed made the connection between Duck Dynasty’s hunky creator/executive producer Scott Gurney and his role as the meth-addicted, gay-for-pay porn star in the 2001 gay feature The Fluffer.
They neglect to mention Scott Gurney shows lots of ass (and even some full frontal) in The Fluffer, and it was directed by award-winning gay porn director Wash West. West directed hugely successful gay porn films Gluttony, Technical Ecstasy as well as The Hole (which, in another nod to reality TV, stars Tag Eriksson, aka Fredrik Eklund from Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing).
The Fluffer is dripping with cameos by actual porn denizens including Chad Donovan, Chi Chi LaRue, Karen Dior, Cole Tucker and others. West’s follow-up to “The Fluffer”, “Quinceañera”, won both the dramatic jury grand prize and the audience award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
Check out more naked pictures — including a full frontal of Scott Gurney after the jump …

While it’s ironic that things like this happen, Gurney shouldn’t have any embarrassment about being in a film about gay porn. What he should be embarrassed about is that it was such a shitty movie — and I don’t care how many awards Wash West has won!

The point of this story isn’t to “slut shame” Gurney for appearing naked in a movie: He’s hot, and he’s got a great body. Good For him. He is a successful reality TV producer and he should be proud. I just think the whole affair is so bizarre. Mostly, I wonder what the Duck Dynasty guys would think about all this.
Anyway, JackBear, I thought the Fluffer was pretty good — all things considered. It wasn’t gone with the wind, but it had its moments. Granted, I’m a bit fan of Wash West’s.

Like with all that bullshit over Grey’s Anatomy, people should step back and try to figure out who has what to gain from this bullshit media event (and who has what to lose). As far as I can tell, Duck Dynasty is not going to be hurt. The network that broadcasts the show is not going to be hurt. Apparently, a sponsor for Duck Dynasty just changed its mind about not selling certain Duck Dynasty products, AND THE GAY .ORGs claiming to be offended will likely get nice little charitable donations from Duck Dynasty’s network and /or Duck Dynasty.
In the case of Grey’s Anatomy, TR Knight was naive enough to think that people actually gave a shit that a black guy “called him a bad name”. Is it possible that Scott Gurney is the real target of this little event? Did that Duck guy actually not know the background of the creator/executive producer of the show? How likely is that? Maybe the Ducks want themselves listed as the producers of their show.

Not sure, but I think that’s a prosthetic penis.

Also, this show is ripe for a gay porn parody, and the title is so easy: “Dick Dynasty” – Jetset?

Don’t you think it is kind of a stretch to say that he was involved in gay porn? He was an actor and actors are expected to act in a role. I saw “The Fluffer” and it is about gay porn, there really wasn’t anything pornographic about it.Yes, there was some nudity very briefly as I remember it. But this movie definitely was not gay porn.

When I first saw that movie I so wanted to get a job as a fluffer in gay porn.

It’s not totally a porn movie. That is what I have just watched.
