RIP: SCOTT SEWPERMAN DEAD AT 30

Scott Sewperman aka Scott Brewster
We’re sad to report that proud gay porn star, escort and film producer Scott Sewperman died yesterday. He was 30.

RIP Scott Sewperman aka Scott Brewster
New York-based Sewperman (real name: Scott Brewster) studied film and design at Parsons School of Design before going on to perform for bareback studios including Dark Alley Media, Treasure Island and others. Sewperman, (@AmericanJockBoy on twitter), had recently teamed up with gay porn star Peto Coast (who he was also dating) to form their own gay porn production company.

According to a friend close to Scott, the apparent cause of death was a heart attack, although we have no official confirmation of this or any further news at this time.

    He was young and in good shape so it must be happened because: #1. He had a heart condition; #2. He was a drug addict and had an overdose; #3. Something like Amy Winehouse that was in reab and died in those sad circumstances. Only assumptions, of couse.

    It's a good thing I hired him as an escort before his death. We practiced safe sex because I believe he's HIV+. I hired Peto also who I think HIV+ and again used condoms. It's too bad I hired them separately since I probably could've gotten them both together. I hope Peto's still continues to work though.

    If you look at other deaths from heart attacks in the industry you see that they are caused by steroid usage. It's true that many of these stars might had been HIV+, but people seldom die from that alone anymore, if they take good care of their health. But it seems to me that there's an obsession for having the perfect buff body which leads to steroid use and abuse. IF only these actors would convince themselves that as long as they are ripped, they don't need to inflate themselves to make it in this industry. Look at Johnny Rapid, for instance, he's huge and look at his body, slender and in good shape. Look at Lucas Ridgeston, one of the most recognized porn stars of a generation, look at his body, no oversized muscles.If you REALLY enjoy sex and show it in front of the camera and have a healthy looking body, you'll make it. Stop putting all that stuff into your bodies. We really can't afford to lose so many of you. Even if many hipocritical queers don't accept it, porn stars and porn are a BIG PART OF OUR LIVES as healthy, accepted gay guys of all ages. By healthy I meant mind wise with no acceptance issues. Most of us enjoy sex and enjoy watching people having sex, so if you're a porn star, take care of yourself. You can lead a proud healthy life since you're no longer ostracized like so many were before your time.

      I agree. When they say heart attack, you know there is a lot more they’re not telling. Why they don’t elaborate, I don’t know.

      And to answer your other points, I think they do steroids because it is the “easy” route to physical beauty. Most people do not have the discipline to reject what are the toxic fattening food offerings in the USA. I see this all the time at the nudist club I go to. It’s disgusting. Most of what is there is cakes and pies, cheeses, starchy foods, hardly any vegetables or anything that is good for a person.

    Hey guys, I want to stop speculation on what caused his death, because no one knows and (hidden in a lot of these) are moral judgements. I’ll update as I get more information, but the truth is, he could have been hit by a car. If that were the case, how many of us would be speculating on his lifestyle, the wiseness of his life choices or the Problem with Porn Stars? Not many.

    For that reason, I’m going to limit discussion on this to actual memorials, unless there’s someone who can speak to Scott’s life with any degree of clarity.

    If we could only find out the truth!Did he have a recreational drug related heart attack?then… could we go so far to say that the use of drugs as a recreational retreat should have the following WARNING:take notice:USE OF RECREATIONAL DRUGS CAN CAUSE HEART ATTACKS, AND IF LEFT UNTREATED CAN LEAD TO DEATH!RIP, Scott!

    OMG! I hooked-up with Scott in NYC in late July. Sweet sexy guy. This is so distressing. He was so excited about his collaboration with Peto Coast. His own personal website was really well-done. He had a zest for life. So sorry to hear this.

    I’m sorry, but I am not going to believe this story until it is confirmed by a reliable source.
    For months Peto has been having a sick individual hack into all his social media accounts posting all manner of hideous lies about Peto and his life – and I wouldn’t put it past them to target Scott in the same manner.

    I have known Scott for many years, and as such considered him a friend. What I would like to say is this, he was someone’s son, someone’s grandson, someone’s boyfriend – in short there are people out there who loved him in those capacities as Scott Brewster. It would serve us well to remember them and their grief during this time instead of simply recalling Sewperman, the adult entertainer.

    In an attempt to stem what will surely be a growing tide of speculation, holier-than-thou judgements, and nasty comments here and elsewhere I will simply say that he used steroids, and crystal meth and ghb/gbl among others. He was 30 years old and outwardly looked to be in great physical shape. He had a heart attack. Im not a coroner nor do I expect the medical examiner who examined him to come forward and make a statement here or anywhere else on what caused cardiac arrest. So kindly do the math yourselves, and let it end there.

    Scott was a sweet and talented young man in many ways who just recently found some success and love and seemed poised to enjoy that. There is a jagged edged void in many peoples lives right now left in the wake of his passing. And to my knowledge none of them have asked for volunteers or posted an employment ad in search someone to help them fill it with distasteful, unwarranted, insensitive and nonempathetic commentary about his career or recreational choices.

    So please continue to share good memories and post well meant condolences in his name, have a heart, be human, love each other. And feel free to repost this comment elsewhere if you see commentary that is negative in hopes it may help other remember that a life is gone and it is missed

    I had known Scott since he was 17 through his passing. When he attended Parsons, he moved to NYC and lived there ever since. He was the designer of my original website and also one of the stellar models to perform for it. He did become HIV+ as he made me aware of it when it happened. I have also seen him party and do some drugs. Something, unforunately, most young men do in that industry. He was also a professional model for an agency in Manhattan. Scott was one of the most brilliant, talented, charming, generous, young men I have ever met. I am devastated at his passing and can only imagine the the tragic loss to his family and friends. RIP Scott. You will be missed very much!

    Met Scott back when he was just turning 18. Was a total knock-out back then. Even as of late he retained a good percentage of his looks. But, some of it, -yes- did fade away. Am not ever putting him down either. Loved the damn kid and he knew it. We had amazing times together. Also, had a deep respect for his epic intelligence and creativity. He was extremely intelligent and talented. (he could build a full blown website in weeks, at age of 17/18, and (was accepted to Parson’s in NYC)

    But additionally, what I knew from when he was that young, never left him. It likely got him into trouble as well. He simply had an unbelievable sexual drive that seemed to go 24/7. And nearly, no age limits either. With all the hooking up and then later, drug use, it sort of (likely) did him in. I’m a realist and have common sense too. I don’t need to be a doctor or the guy who performed the autopsy. With that said, if Scott never touched drugs after his younger “experimental phase” – and ate all whole foods and hit a gym (no steroids) and had 1 partner (for sake of example) he’d still be alive. I’m not judging him. Just saying there was no real reason this happened other than his choices. “God” did not take him. The American Heart thing is nonsense too. They have no place in any of this. It’s just really sad. We all wanted Scott to be here when he was 80. But now all we have are memories. Love you Scott, rest forever in peace. I’ll always remember you as that beautiful boy mostly.. just getting out of H/S. The one with the smile that could melt ice and warm hearts, miles away. God Bless You.

    (1a) A Psalm of David.

    23 (1b) The Lord is my shepherd;
    I shall not want.
    2 On green pastures he gives me rest,
    the still waters he leads me,
    3 gives me new strength
    and leads me in right paths,
    living up to its name.

    4 Even though I walk through the darkest of valleys,
    I fear no danger,
    for thou, Lord, art with me;
    thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

    5 I have prepared a banquet
    in the eyes of my enemies;
    you anoint my head

    ok. first off. are you people all crazy. this was a young beautiful man that i had the pleasure of knowing personally he is more than a sexually object more then body parts more then porn scenes he had a beautiful heart and soul and was a over all very nice person in a world of some very not nice ppl as u can see from the responses on this posting.
    it does not matter what he died of , its a combination of all the things ppl are gossiping about. gossip comes from some where lets first face that, second yes maybe there is one pin point cause of death but it doesnt matter the exact cause its about life events that lead up to a certain moment. the comments about hiv on this site have been some of the most ignorant comments i have ever seen in my life. out right un educated comments, and comments about thank god i hired him before he died as a escort make me sick and want to through up whats wrong with u ppl this was a kid that has issues and problems but also was a great wonderful smart guy that had a lot to offer and he was a pleasure to know so leave the speculations aside and stop making it all about sex drugs and hiv

    it amazes me the things people say about the dead that they can’t say about the living. for those of you that knew this person, as i did, you would know he was the most caring , affectionate, nice person who always looked out for others even in the worst of situation. his passing inspired me in my graduate school program to talk about addiction, recovery and hiv and he inspired me to start my company http://www.getoinkd.com and also talk about addiction, recovery and hiv. we as people have a voice, make sure you use it in the most positive way possible. this person had loved ones has loved ones, had friends, has friends and is remembered with love and good thoughts and the red pants that he was wearing the last time i saw him, and his tight black shirt and his curly blonde hair, in the dark of the night in chelsea, with a glare of a smile that could make any man’s heart surrender , so hiv poz, hiv neg, gay porn, not gay porn, drugs or no drugs, the SPECULATION and gossip that we as members of the gay community put around someones death that are in some way connected to the gay community is sickening, when all we really do is leave people behind that don’t fit in or aren’t really a part of. so in scott’s passing, why don’t we remember that and remember to be nice and loving to people as he was and certainly not bash the dead behind a computer screen. thank you
