After cover-boy Levi Johnson decided to keep his pants on, Playgirl announced today that their newest celebrity would be Paul D, Kirk McKambley Make Me a Supermodel’s openly gay activist Ronnie Kroell. Hmmm. Having seen what Playgirl svengali Daniel Nardicio is packing, I’m sort of disappointed they didn’t use him.

Poor fella. He woulda been so much better off had he never auditioned for reality TV and was currently working the daytime shift at the Linens ‘N Things in his town, and getting sloppy drunk at TGI Fridays at the weekend. Now it’s too late, and he’s completely useless.

Actually, Ronnie has had quite a bit of modeling work since the show not to mention the fact that he has a Poly Sci background and works quite hard as an gay rights activist. I think assuming he is ignorant or a whore because he is willing to pose nude- which he did for while modeling anyway they just covered the good bits- isn’t just judgemental it is completely misinformed. I’d take a one in out and proud man like Ronnie to a hundred anonymous closeted internet posters.

I’ve seen Ronnie give of his time and his fame for AIDS and other LGBT charities. I’ve met him and he’s a very nice person.
