RIP Pierre Buisson (18 Years Later)

I’ve been looking for an excuse to link to the blog of my literary idol Dennis Cooper for months, now I finally have one. He posted a somewhat-delayed obit for Pierre Buisson: the almond-eyed somewhat draggish star of three Jean-Daniel Cadinot films.

I’ve seen Dennis refer to Pierre as is “all-time favorite porn star” quite a few times and he even went so far to make him a character in his novel, Frisk, the first book of Dennis’ I read. Anyway, Dennis just learned and blogged that Pierre died in November, 1987 (of a heroin OD, no less). He’s looking for more info on him, so if you know anything, shoot him an email through his blog (tell ’em Jack sent ya!)

One thing’s that driving me crazy — I can’t for the life of me remember which porn star was cast to play Pierre in the uninspired movie version of Frisk — I remember him having a similarly clumsy, elfish beauty as Pierre. If anyone remembers, please chime in here.
