Porn Podcasts Hit It Big

Props, yo, to my homegirl Violet Blue, who was recently (and somewhat surprisingly) profiled on the front page of the Wall Street Journal’s Marketplace section because her podcast, Open Source Sex, is (and somewhat not surprisingly) one of the most-downloaded shows on the iTunes podcast directory. MSNBC.com followed suit and ran a similar story.

Before the weekend started, her show was ranked #11 on iTunes, but with all the publicity, Open Source Sex is now ranked #6, #5, #4 #3 (above CNN and the WSJ), which is thrilling for me, too as I was a guest on episode #9, talking shit on a variety of topics.
