I was just floored that there was my sex idol, but now he was buck naked and what I had been envisioning for years was even better in real life!”
Later, Nardicio met Buzzini in real life when he became VP of the magazine in 2009. “One day Brian popped into my head and so, since I had a reason to, I reached out to him to pose again. The editors seemed underwhelmed by this idea, but I managed to forge a sweet gushing acquaintanceship with my idol, and much to my pleasure he had aged so well that it gave me hope that one could indeed become better with age.” Based on the pick below, we couldn’t agree more.
While Nardicio — “the Willy Wonka of Gay New York,” according to the Village Voice — became a household name while at Playgirl (he was the one that convinced Levi Johnston to bare his hockey stick), but says his choice of Buzzini had nothing do with his one-time role at the magazine. In fact, Nardicio’s now handling even bigger stars — this week, he appeared on Logo’s A-List and on August 27, he’s throwing an amazing party on Fire Island with Sandra Bernhard and Peaches. Granted, I’d probably ditch all of it for a night with Papa Buzzini. Ideally with Nardicio in tow …

Brian had my attention for a while back in the late 90’s amidst my discovery of the Bel Ami models. He’s aged very gracefully and looks damn handsome with the gray mixed into his facial hair.
