First, the controversy will sell DVD’s
Second, Lucas can get in trouble for this. He is giving evidence to authoities of illegal behavior. If a bunch of teenagers were videotaping themselves mooning people on the subway, they would investigate and arrest them. So, I am not overly convinced this is real. I think Lucas is desperate for publicity again.

Where’s the controversy? Although this is one of Lucas’ most stupid acts, breaking the law is not controversial. Lucas is old and tired, and this is what he has to resort to in order to gain traction. And of course, GPB falls for it… again.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and someone who works at the transit authority will look into the matter. Lucas continues to play with fire, and as an immigrant who is susceptible to deportation on conviction, maybe a DA looking for some publicity will grow a pair and prosecute, doing us all a favor.

Lucas does do a lot for publicity but I think in this case he’s onto something, at least because the end result product is what appears to be a hot scene.

I don’t think that this is so shocking. Anyone who lives in NYC knows that the subway can be pretty desolate at times. I’ve been on the train in a car by myself at night for a half an hour at the time. It’s just like people filming scenes on public beaches and stuff.
Thankfully, the scene looks hot and that’s all that really matters…

This isn’t the first film to shoot a sex scene in the NYC public transit system. Films of the 70s and 80s (namely SUBWAY, but I know there are others) feature sex scenes shot in very public places.
