Gay Porn Before And After: Rod Majors

11-inch uncut stud Rod Majors, who appeared in mid-nineties classics like Idol Country, Built Tough, and Kristen Bjorn’s Call of The Wild (as Pierre LaBranche) After:
matt_sanchez_gay_porn1.jpg
Cpl. Matt Sanchez: Right-wing talking head currently making the rounds on the usually rather gay-porn-phobic Hannity, O’Reilly, and even the devil herself Ann Coulter.

In response to the flurry of attention he’s gotten since bloggers uncovered his gay porn past yesterday (it was the #1 story on MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann tonight, although they credited Huffington Post with breaking the story, not Tom Bacchus), he posted the following offensive defense/response on his otherwise rather-dull blog, where he sort of owns up to doing porn (but slams it) and skirts the issue of his sexuality altogether:

I don’t like porn, it reduces the mind, flattens the soul … Like all followers of a cult, it’s tough to figure out when you stopped believing in the party-line, but I can tell you that by the time I finished my summer tour of the major studios, I was pretty disgusted with myself. It was an emotional low, and the people who surrounded me were like drug dealers only interested in being with the anesthetized in order not to shake off the stupor of being high …

    Ha!

I’ve seen this moron around Hell’s Kitchen. Oh well, the conservative way of life is the typical port in the storm for the stupid. It’s great for them because you don’t have to think for yourself and you’re told exactly whom to hate and whom to vote for. Incidentally, whenever I see him around the neighborhood he looks like a two-bit hustler. Old habits. . .?

Ultimately, it’s no great loss to the porn or gay community. I think whenever he tries to blow smoke up someone’s ass a lovely montage of his body of work should be shown in response.

I’m sure that will make him lots of “friends” on the conservative side. They DO tend to be closet cases.

PS: It looks like Ann has been taking her hormone shots. The Adam’s apple is almost gone! You go, girl!

“Like all followers of a cult, it’s tough to figure out when you stopped believing in the party-line…”

Neo-conservatism is the newest cult he’s following. Maybe one day he’ll stop believing in it…but only if his book sales flop.

I just checked out his response on his site. Several paragraphs of skewed thinking, fence straddling, incomplete thoughts, factless conclusions and nasty vindictives that he has said only liberals are capable of. He said he thought conservatives would flee from him, but the opposite is true; he’s been invited back on talk shows, and embraced by right-wingers…only he doesn’t say which shows or who wants to hold him (my guess is Jeff Gannon). Spoken like a neo-con, which he doesn’t claim to be. And of course, there is no function on his blog for anyone to post a comment responding to his post. “Listen to what I have to say, but don’t expect me to listen to you.” Feh.

I like how one-by-one all the hard-core right wing advocates are turning out to be sleeping with male prostitutes, on cocaine, have illicit affairs with office boys, or ex gay porn stars. I find this very satisfying.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when this happens to those stupid fucking hypocrites! The kindest thing I can find to say is that at least he’s consistent — he was ghastly looking as a gay porn star and he’s ghastly looking as a conservative ex-gay (?). Whoever made this information public has my undying gratitude. More, more!!!

I love the lie about his 11 inch penis. I have seen it upclose and personel amd I am telling you that it is noy by any stretch of the imagination 11 inches more like 8 inches on a good day. so it appears that he is a really good story teller. now 8 inches is by no means small but if you compare him with his co-stars then you must subtract 3 inches from all of them.

I didn’t find the response on his blog vindictive in any way. Are people not allowed to make changes in their lives? What is wrong with getting out of gay porn? Can you blame him for speaking out about being harassed on campus? If he was being harassed for being a former porn star then you would run to his support, but because he was harassed for being a soldier we shun him? I don’t think he has done anything wrong.

Sorry, but the only hypocrites I see here are you guys, with all due respect. You seem to suggest having a history with porn means one can’t change his/her views and become a conservative or that all gay men are liberal democrats!

Yes, he’s a porn star, but also a US Marine, and a student who is now a conservative! Whats hypocritical about that?

And by the way, his appearances on Fox News were about him being harassed, something all gays should be sensitive about.

Why mock him for changing his views on issues? Why laugh and mock his gay porn past? Like, whats the point?

    fvts,

With all due respect (i.e. none), are you 12, INCREDIBLY naive, or just plain stupid? Let’s see – the Conservative party in America would like to see gays as marginalized as possible. Do you need any further explanation?

Maybe a an analogy for you:
Imagine if Wesley Snipes decided that he were going to stop appearing in films and were instead going to join the Aryan Nation so he could write a book about his “mistakes” in Hollywood. Would that seem okay to you?

Spare us that Log Cabin Republican snow job for self loathing delusion.

ANY gay person who supports an ideology that doesn’t respect his/her basic human rights (or existence for that matter) probably suffers from a variety of issues but is a FOOL, to be sure.

This moron Majors is in a picture, all cozy and smiling with Ann Coulter! Do you know WHO she is? Do you know what she thinks (and frequently says) about gay people? Do you know ANYTHING?

Do some reading BEFORE you come on a blog and try a “Uh ha, you boys are the hypocrites!”

    This tack doesn’t fly, junior.

PS: I have a feeling fvts is just a conservative troll on the blog. I can’t imagine anyone is THAT obtuse.

Wake the fuck up, people! Just because that Will and Grace shit was on television does NOT mean that everyone loves us now.

Gays are getting beaten and killed in this country every day and assholes like Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter, former(thank goodness) senator Santorum, and dozens of religious leaders (WHO ARE ALL CONSERVATIVES by the way) spew crap every day to make sure that it KEEPS happening!

My compliant about Matt Sanchez has really nothing to do with his porn past. It has to do with him not calling Ann Coulter to task for her remarks. He stood by and let her get away with it. He does have the right to believe anything he wants to believe. This is America is it not? The fact that he has stair stepped the whole gay issue speaks volumes about his character. He was at the meeting where Ann Coulter made here rude remark then he poses for a picture with her. The man is gay or at least bisexual and I know this for fact, he should not be willing to standby and allow that type of name-calling. He calls himself a Marine and claims being called a baby killer upset him but he does not get upset with gay slurs are bandied about. This is where I find him repulsive. I thought he was repulsive when I meet him and I find him even more so now. He is the worst kind of self-hating gay person, one who will sell his own soul to get ahead.

I have mixed feelings about this. First Matt Sanchez is not stupid. My politics are definitely left of center, and I disagree with Sanchez on many things, but he seems rather articulate to me. Of course, he manages to miss the point that his lifestyle (or former lifestyle) is anathema to his new allies. He seems to feel victimized by left wing media, but the inherent contradiction in his actions and words left him open for criticism and doubt about his sincerity.
Nonetheless, his right wing credentials stem from his dislike of the anti-military movement — not any homophobia. So, aside from having his interviews with conservative journalists, I’m not sure why gay bloggers and others have taken such offense at his views. In fact, I haven’t seen anything really homophobic in his statements, and although he seems to claim to be straight now, even that has not been really clear. He also mentions how he felt less conservative at the awards ceremony with the radical right wingers than he thought he was.
His statements about the porn industry ring true, and although everyone has not had the same reaction, his feeling abased by doing porn is, I would think, not unreasonable. He is not, however, forthcoming about why he got in to that industry and what he got out of it. He is even more silent about his escorting.
He certainly has the right to express his feelings about anything he wants, but he seems to feel that hostile reactions from people who disagree are merely a lack of tolerance. That’s a little too much self pity, I think.
Ultimately it all reads more as self-promotion than anything else. He can’t claim to have wandered naively into the scandal, he’s been around the block too many times for that. I expect his forthcoming book will profit nicely from all this.

    What’s going on here?

    1. The conservative movement is NOT homophobic. (log-cabin republicans, anyone?)

    2. BILL O’REILY IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE “LEADER”. The leaders would be THE PEOPLE WE ELECT. He has a TV show. NOT a political office.

    3. You can love God and love gays.

    4. He’s not a hypocrite at all–he was slandered for standing for our country and he happens to be conservative, even though a homosexual. So what?!

    5. Not everyone will accept homosexuality.

Think about it this way–what if I said that gays were conservative-haters? What’s the difference? Gays kill conservatives just like conservatives kill gays so get off your fucking anti-war self-hating soap-box.

I’m sure if I were to say that a conservative homosexual (and that’s going by the current American definition of a Conservative or Neo-Con) is tantamount to a Jewish Nazi or a Black Klansman I sure little “I want to belong to an ideology that would rather I not exist!” would gripe and grouse and say he’d heard it all before.

Well, dear-heart, that’s probably because IT APPLIES.

Take your middle American, I ain’t got no learnin’, self-hating stupidity, fold it into four corners and. . . well you know the rest.

With your illiterate monkey poised to start World War Three (oh, he’s now taking gays in the military but quietly, he’ll use us as canon fodder but not grant us the right to die it honorably)we have no time for some idiot hick who thinks the Neo-Cons will tolerate him because he loves Jesus.

    ASSOCIATED PRESS:
Marine Gen. Peter Pace likened homosexuality to adultery, which he said was also immoral, the newspaper reported on its Web site.

“I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way,” Pace told the newspaper in a wide-ranging interview.

Yeah, the Conservatives love us just as much as their lackeys do!

Okay wow, guys. If you want to win the hearts of conservatives over, you’re sure doing it well by fighting fire with stupid little fag crying.

Yeah, I’m gay, and I happen to believe that God and Jesus, my savior, have no qualms with that whatsoever. I also happen to believe in a limited central government, low taxes, and the right for a business to privatize and monopolize the hell out of the world for the sake of making money.

Call me an idiot, but isn’t that the fucking american way? Isn’t that why we came here in the first place? Religious freedom? The freedom to get rich and not pay taxes to a monarch?

Shut up with your pathetic “Oh the conservatives hate me and wish I didn’t exist” bullshit. Sure, some of the biggest voices in the “neo-con” movement want our voices silenced, but who the fuck cares if they’re not winning anyway? Clearly, gays aren’t going anywhere. (The fact that San Francisco is/is trying to have a “gay porn day”–more power to you–is proof enough that gays ARE rising in power)

But FUCK YOU if you think only liberals want to see the gays succeed. I alone should be proof that conservatives (that is, people who believe in the CENTRAL ideals of the political philosophy and NOT that gays are evil) want to see an end to the stigma surrounding homosexuality.

my main point is that CONSERVATISM has nothing to do with homosexuality!

It preaches a traditional family, but who’s to define “traditional”? Someday, being gay will be just as acceptable–we’re damn well close! Traditionally just refers to the status quo, so if the gay liberal community could just take their “heads out of their asses” like you say, we could get something done and still not be politically fucked up.

PS–BUSH happens to be a conservative. That doesn’t mean I support or agree with him, so your point there is invalid.

Bush gives conservatism (which at its fundamental level is a GOOD name) a bad name.

I read his interview on the porno blog from years ago. Very interesting, seems intelligent. I geuss porn didn’t provide the capital he needed. Hence being the tool of the ruling regime.
Joining the marines, and then baiting at Columbia, like a Jeff Gannon.

He seemed quite enthralled with the whole biz. I am a little unsure, but I think I may have met him ect. in San Francisco, he looks like the same guy and there was this thing with speaking French. Also he was when I met him somewhat traveling so it jibes with between the lines in the interview. When your hot, your hot! I don’t collect sociopaths though, they are detrimental, and he comes off like this.
United States is brimming with two-bit, and well rehearsed sociopaths, like the people using him.
The dick seems the same. and he looks like how I met in the porn pub pics.
He’s changed now, I think there is confusion. No? I would assume the usual crystal/route, loss of self.
I’ve known ect. porn people some are very intelligent and OK. I think it’s American culture that’s a little crazy,
he should be able to move on. I expeirenced it also.
What I remember he was like prostitute.
Which is OK. But I think all Americans seem to be crazy these days, bizarre country. Very strange and unforgiving.

    chefusto,

No one here, with the exception of a twisted freak like yourself, is trying to “win over” any conservatives. Just like we’re not trying to warm the cockles of the hearts of the KKK or the Aryan Nation.

Face it – you’re a numbskull – at best. At worst you’re a self-hating homosexual who wants to ally himself with people who think, what did that general say – “It’s not OK to be immoral (i.e. GAY). . .” I just love the way you try to wrap yourself in God and Country as though those two things are exclusive territory of Conservatism. It just shows how ignorant, ill traveled and xenophobic you probably are. You sound just like that big fat, deluded so-and-so in that Elephant in the Room documentary. Do you also listen to Barbara Streisand CDs while talking about how grateful you are for Bush’s stance on gay marriage? Your pathetic need for acceptance reminds me of (and I’ve seen this happen) a black person who feels all warm, fuzzy and complimented when a white person tells him he’s “Not like the rest of ’em.” If you don’t see why that’s disgusting then you should get thee to a psychiatrist – toot sweet!

While you’re playing good little lapdog to people who, if they had their druthers, would see you disappear off the face of the planet you should learn who Ernst Rohm was. He is the patron saint of misguided, self loathing homosexuals on the edge of the precipice and acquainting yourself with his story might afford you some perspective. Though given what I’ve seen of your cognitive skills, enlightenment through reading is highly unlikely but hope does spring eternal.

There’s still (and it may be wishful thinking on my part) a very good chance that you’re NOT even gay. Let’s all hope that you’re just some bored hick who, tired of watching NASCAR and wrestling, is trying to muck up a gay blog with his mindless yammering.

If you are gay thank heaven you and those like you are an infinitesimal minority within the community.

Either way, you’re a waste of time and keystrokes so I’m finished with you and I won’t be reading your undoubtedly brilliant response.

It’s true Bill O’Reilly isn’t a leader in political office, but his TV soapbox gives him a lot of power through exposure and I worry that a lot of conservatives listen to his crazy theories. So he may actually be doing more damage than the politicians.
Also, Someone mentioned that it may not be long before gays are accepted. With all due respect, I wonder if that’s true. There have been at least 4 major anti-gay statements in the news within the past few weeks alone. AOL recently summarized them and they let readers vote on whether they thought homosexuality was immoral; I was horrified to see that the majority (around 60%) still believe that it is. So I’m sad to say it looks like people haven’t progressed as much as I had hoped.

chefusto probably you should take a look into just what the roots of conservatism, especially social conservatism is. You will find that it was never a movement that was particularly concerned with the advancement of rights for minorities.
You should thank your lucky stars for Liberals and the Progressive movement, as without it many minorities would still be disenfranchised (include gays) and without such a movement attitudes would not have been change towards gays.
Excuse me the fucking american way is not about monopolies and low taxes its about freedom and liberty, something that historically the conservative movement has faught against on many fronts.
You say George W Bush is a bad example of conservatism, but you fail to mention that he’s in total alignment with today’s conservative philosophies. look at Michael Savage, he has the second largest radio audience of any political radio talk show host in the country, he frequently uses his platform to demonise gays. Let me not even get started on Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck and Ann coulter. I hope you guys continue winning elections and setting the values for the country- soon you will be succesful in getting more Scalias on the bench, so states like Texas will be free to ban sodomy.
You need to wake up and realise what your own movement is about if you plan to change it- being intellectually dishonest about or blaming everything on liberals wont cause any change.
Thats the one reason why while i dont agree with Andrew Sullivan on everything- i respect him as he has been honest in revealing how increasingly theocratic and subsequently hostile towards gay the conservative movement is- a truth that continues to evade you.

Leave him alone. Everyone’s entitled to their personal opinion, even if they’re contradictory. If he wants to be a gay, conservative, military, porn star; let him be one. I don’t think the end of the world hinges on it, one way or the other. There are severely, severely _real_ fish to fry in the search for peace and liberation–gay and otherwise.

BTW, I’m liberal and anti-bush war, but I wouldn’t want a bunch of students’ yelling at me, when I’m only trying to eat my lunch, either. Maybe these folks could set a better example for peace, by being a little more peaceful, themselves.
