Dominic Ford’s 3D Gay Porn is Cumming Right At You

When I first heard of DominicFord.com and his 3D-porn, I was skeptical… nothing more than a gay gimmick for a gay amateur site to set itself apart from an all-too-flooded gay market. But after spending some time talking to Dominic I quickly changed my mind.

Dominic is a photography geek who’s passionate about gay porn and 3D photography. It’s not — as I first assumed — just a regular gay sex scene through some Photoshop filter, but rather original content shot and processed on (apparently expensive) equipment with the ultimate goal of bringing the viewer one step closer towards interacting with the models having sex. Don’t expect the Orgasmatron from Sleeper, but do expect something engaging and different.

Perhaps Dominic put it best when he said to me, in all honesty, “I used to never jerk off while watching the stuff I shot in 2D, but now I jerk off all the time while I’m editing the 3D footage because it’s like I’m there.”

Here’s a set of images from one of his recent starring Brock Armstrong and Karter James in both 2D and 3D. (You get a free pair of 3D glasses if you join his site, but maybe you have a pair lying around the house?)

What took them so long to do this? All those old Falcon videos should be revamped into 3D!

Dominic jerks off to the porn he’s editing because “it’s like I’m there”… as opposed to being there when he’s shooting it? I think this may qualify for the stupid-most comment, certainly of the month, perhaps even of the year. If splitting the color channels is your cup of tea, go for it! Please, engage and be different (because God knows, the rest of the schlock coming out of gayporndom is not).

    Jamie,

It’s like being there when you watch it on your computer screen. As if you can reach out and touch them. This makes me a lot more horny than just watching 2D porn. It also makes our subscriber base much more interested and engaged in the action.

Of course I am in the room filming it, but I can’t just sit back and watch, as I have to think about lighting, positions, and all the other stuff a director has to do. I enjoy our porn the way everyone else does: watching it on screen after the fact. Sorry if that was somehow confusing to you.

Don’t knock 3D until you have actually seen it. Email me and I will happily send you a free pair of glasses. Too many nay-sayers write off new ideas before they actually see for themselves. I encourage you to actually see one our movies in 3D before judging.

    Best,
    Dominic

sooo . . . I’m watching your movies and looking at your pics with my own 3D glasses . . .

But it looks like one big headache. Sure, some of the 3D pics come out great and look really good. A VAST majority of them, however, look . . . bad :/
They don’t pop out at all, they just have a red/blue shadow on either side of them and that does NOT help with immersion. The movie clips on your site are just as bad.

I hope that this is just for the people who have yet to pay for your site. Maybe you only show the real movies and pics to those who join? Because I can assure you I would not pay for this 3D porn . . . the quality is just bad :(
