Sagat, Lucas & Rhodes Penetrate Deeper Into Fashion

April issue of artsy Brit fashion mag i-D features an interview with Francois Sagat where he talks about working for gay-tastic designer Karl Lagerfeld, photographer Mario Testino and French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld (who knew?). They also feature an extensive spread of Francois dressed in weird clothes and doing things I have a hard time explaining:

Ever since Jack sent me Wolf Hudson's anti-folk insta-classic, "I Wanna Teabag You," I've been obsessed. Gay Porn Awards: Lucas Sweeps GayVNs

While technical difficulties are keeping me from getting you the photos from the GayVNs until later today (is it possible that computer servers are as hung over as we are), last night's GayVN Awards were historic in more ways than one. When presented with option of being a top or bottom, Ms. Griffin politically chose "middle," which I believe means she likes it in the vagina.

Of course, to many involved the entire weekend was a bit of a blur, beginning with the COLT 40th party (COLT Man Carlo Masi jumping out of a cake!) and ending with NakedSword's debaucherous afterparty (Roman Heart go-go dancing! Chad Hunt and Barrett Long fluffing each other by Kink.com horse stables! Brent Corrigan looking sexy -- and suspicious! Me slipping in a puddle of Belvedere and Red Bull! Oh, the decrepit glamour of gay porn -- how I love you!)

Success and critical acclaim are a slippery slope. The more famous you get, the more enemies you have and the more people will clamor for your downfall. Never one to rest on his laurels, his latest endeavor, "Michael Lucas' Dangerous Liaisons" is by far his most ambitious project to date. It eschews his normal all-sex, plot-light formula for an elaborate plot and dialogue-heavy script written by Tony Dimarco. While this isn't the first time that Choderlos de Laclos’ 1782 classic Les Liaisons Dangereuses has been made into a gay porn -- technically first there was Odyssey's Carnal Intentions, which was based on "Cruel Intentions," which was based on "Dangerous Liaisons", but who's counting? -- it's certainly never been told in the porn sphere with such style (we're talking sets with real-live Barcelona chairs!) but I'll post a more thorough review of that later, for now, let's let's hear what Michael Lucas has to say for himself ...
