Gay Porn and Jazz Hands: Randy Blue's "Alley Cats"
With all the hoopla from IML and the Grabbys, I needed an twinkish non-studio palate cleanser, so I headed over to Randy Blue where I got it, sort of.
Randy Blue's been stepping up it's game recently. Randy Blue's Alley Cats is yet another move by the site (almost typed "studio," and with good reason -- awhile back their Halloween release, "A Taste of Blue" was another high-production feature) to expand it's reputation beyond just stock sets that dominate in amateur sites.
I'm not sure what I like best about Alley Cats -- Reese Rideout's thick haunches, Chris Rockway's hairy balls or the stylistic nods to Newsies.

But it does seem to me that if the once-dominant DVD studios like Falcon don't merge with these online studio -- yes, studio -- powerhouses like Randy Blue, and soon, it's curtains for them in the very foreseeable future. And that does make me sad.

I'm just pointing to what I perceive as an irreversible trend toward online porn and away from discs, and I don't see the DVD studios doing very much to buck that trend, hence my merger suggestion.
