Gay Sex Producer Falcon Goes Straight
Falcon unveiled the latest foray into an increasingly competitive porn market this week, with Falcon Str8Men, a site dedicated to hot men and the money that gets them to jack off before the camera.
While sites like Randy Blue, Dirty Boy Video and Sean Cody blur the line between straight and gay, Falcon's embraced the straight man in all his testosteroidal glory -- their trailer bears the tag "Get ready for real men," and the site's tagline is "Hot. Sexy. Straight."
So far it's only solos, but I imagine there are more than a few exlcusives waiting with baited breath for a chance to dig in ...

Wow...leave it to Falcon to be on the bleeding edge of gay porn. What idiots are in charge over there?
Memo idiots: you're about 6 years late on the whole "straight" guy thing. And why the hell would anyone sign up for your site when you can't even download the movies? Hmmm... maybe its because you don't bother to mention that to people before they sign up for a membership.
Why don't you stop trying to catch up to the trends and first learn how to make hot movies again?
Posted by: John at May 7, 2008 10:47 PMFalcon seems so rudderless now, wouldn't be surprised to find the guys paired with chicks using a tagline like "Straight Sex for Gay Men!" Would that really be such a stretch when the whole idea of this featured site is, at its core, so antigay and creatively bankrupt?
Otherwise, I love it!!
Okay...maybe I'm jaded, or just plain tired of it...but I've just about had it with marketing aimed at the segment of gay men who can only get off to a guy if he's straight. Use of that term is laughable in this business anyway. And use of the slogan "Get ready for real men" makes me want to puke. So the connotation is that you can only be a real man if you're "straight"? I think I know what the problem at Falcon is now. I'll throw my support to Titan and Raging Stallion. These guys like to suck and fuck other guys with no apologies about their sexuality-- and I'll bet any one of them could beat the hell out of the "stright" men at Falcon who jack off on video for cash, for the pleasure of self-loathing gay men who can't deal. Marketing this line in this manner is reprehensible. SHAME ON YOU FALCON.
Posted by: zealot at May 8, 2008 12:08 AM"Get ready for real men," Yes because we all know being gay means you are not a real man. I know its a marketing ploy but really......that just sounds self loathing and something I would not expect from Falcon.
Posted by: sick of it at May 8, 2008 9:45 AM"Get ready for real men"? Why not just change it to "Faggots are just women"? Thanks Falcon!
Posted by: chriso at May 8, 2008 12:32 PM"Get ready for real men"?
So only straight men are "real" according to Falcon's latest blurb?
Nice to know.
Cunts.
i don't appreciate the tagline "get ready for REAL men" to me it sounds like they're putting straight men on a pedestal. What's with this trend of self-deprecation of gay men as being inferior to straight men, I don't get it
Posted by: Pekemo at May 8, 2008 4:38 PM"Get ready for real men" That's right because if you take or give it up the ass to men...you aren't a real man. Thanks Falcon for reminding me.
Pathetic.
Posted by: Darren at May 8, 2008 7:29 PM"Get ready for real men"? What the fuck? Falcon should be ashamed. Gays needa get some self-worth and respect this is ridiculous.
Posted by: at May 8, 2008 8:10 PM"Get ready for real men"? The implication being that the gay performers featured in previous releases *aren't* real men?
Congrats Falcon, you just found a marketing strategy insulting enough to ensure I never buy another of your movies no matter how hot the guys they feature are.
Posted by: Bruinsfan at May 8, 2008 9:25 PMI'm sure they'll have some hot guys on there. It's just sort of odd to see. We saw the whole gay for pay phenom. Maybe it's just a natural progression. No labels or categories. Well I'm sure they'll have some hot guys on there. It's just sort of odd to see.
Posted by: JT at May 9, 2008 2:35 AMSo it looks like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to present "straight men" as the ultimate fetish. The line used in advertising "Get ready for real men" seems to imply that only straight men are worthwhile, and gay men are considerably less "real". Way to continue adding fuel to the gay self-hate fire that keeps straight guys like Johnny Castle and Tony Capucci rolling in dough!
Posted by: Casey Scott at May 9, 2008 5:54 AM"Get ready for real men" ???!!!???
'cause gay men are not "real men"???
Falcon - you are getting lower and lower on my list. oh wait - you fell off the list with this one.
Posted by: graywolf at May 9, 2008 9:16 AMI'm so suspicious of this "gay for pay" stuff. I'm as gay as can be and while I hope I'm never poor enough to have to face this dilemma, I wouldn't go near a vagina for a million bucks.
I tend to think that if you're "gay for pay" and you're on the receiving end of things, you're probably just bi and don't want to deal with it.
Oh well, whatever let's people sleep at night...
Posted by: at May 9, 2008 11:22 PMI'm a real man too.
Posted by: Dutch. at May 10, 2008 3:22 AMSort of silly and a waste of time. They need a new ad team and some more ideas. Boring and poorly planned.
Posted by: James at May 10, 2008 6:14 AMI feel better now. When I 1st read that Falcon Str8 men blurb there was no comments. Today I was ready to post and wham! All these messages; similar to my thoughts.
Strictly from a business/marketing angle, I get it. Everyone else has done it so we'll do it too. From a cultural angle, Falcon? What the hell? I don't know what to think. Is it the next step in the gay for pay thing? I'm not a fan of that. I'm sure they'll be some hot men on there but will I pay $$$ to see "straight men?" No. And of course the straight part is still open to interpretation. Besides the "str8 men" are just going to jack off anyway. You can get that for free...damn near anywhere.
Plus I support my gay troops (financially).... The men out there making movies, sucking, fucking, kissing, the whole 9, being gay and proud of it!
"Get ready for real men.Sexy.Hot.Straight"
Oh wow, that's hot!
I hope they furiously shout derogatory terms targeted at my orientation.
Nothing turns me on more than feeling like a 2nd class human being.
Also nothing would turn me on more, than if they give blank stares into the camera before threatening to come cut my gay throat in the middle of the night while I sleep...ooooh, sexy!
Self loathing = the new aphrodisiac!
Come on guys, let's go enter politics and make sure gay marriage stays illegal forever!
I mean, since we're not real men and all...
A MODEST PROPOSAL
HANG THE FALCON'S DIRECTOR
HANG THE FALCON'S DIRECTOR
HANG THE FALCON'S DIRECTOR
(morrissey-marr)
The customer that buys that kind of content is self loathing to begin with, so I don’t think the mainstream gay community is the target customer for this type of content. But, it is still degrading for a “gay” company that built itself on the back of the gay community to do something like this.
Posted by: at May 12, 2008 9:42 AMUnbeknownst to many, gay men are actually made almost entirely from tofu and salad cream.
What the sweet-sam-fuck Falcon?
I'll take sweaty, enjoyable, dirty, ass-eating, cock-sucking, ass-fucking faggots over a straight man with a paycheck any day of the week.
If I wanted straight or faux-straight men? I'd cruise manhunt.
Posted by: BT at May 12, 2008 9:52 AMHahaha! I find it hilarious how Falcon continues to self-destruct.
Barebacking, self-loathing, out-dated trends.... Geez, they sure are pathetic.
Posted by: at May 12, 2008 1:11 PMWow. How suspicious that so many posts on here were done at Crack O'Clock. Sure, the tag-line is lame but we all know what they PROBABLY meant: Real Str8men. I seriously doubt Falcon set out to offend anyone, and if you were seriously offended by a PORN site, wow, you are one sensitive sissy ass. Get over it guys, if you don't like it don't watch it and don't join the site. I think this is once again a bunch of industry insiders who are desperate to knock down a competitor. Let's see what happens to the site in 6 months, if it's still around I guess we can deduce that us gay faggots are nothing but a bunch of self-loathing pathetic idiots. Right?
Posted by: at May 12, 2008 8:11 PMExcuse me but Gay Men need loving to. Let me tell you what, Gay Men are just like everybody. They need unconditional love just like straight guys. I think its getting rediculous how people judge ALOT when they don't even know them.

Posted by: Jack Newport at May 12, 2008 8:50 PMTo anonymous 8:11PM 5/12/08 - Hey, Falcon! So nice of you to join us! That's right, dear, we're ALL A BUNCH OF CRACKHEADS! Keep up the good work!
Posted by: at May 13, 2008 7:07 AM"How suspicious that so many posts on here were done at Crack O'Clock"
The interwebs extend outside of the USA, fool.
PM to you is AM to someone else.
uh falcon is not the only studio having some kind heterosexual theme to it raging stallion and ricky sins is making straight porn. go to queermenow.net and see his announcement.
Posted by: theone at May 13, 2008 5:22 PMuh go to queermenow.net ricky sins and raging stallion are making straight porn.you all can see the announcement there .what is with minorities are we our own worst enemy? what ever happend to pride ? can we have anything on our own?
Posted by: at May 13, 2008 5:27 PMThat 5/13/08 7:07AM message to Falcon is from me. I didn't want it seem I was afraid to post my name. (Also wanted credit!)
Posted by: Will at May 14, 2008 3:40 PM"real men". you children are getting worked up over nothing. i just received two newer mustang dvds; which, coincidentally, the line on their mustang dvds says "real men. real sex". hmm...wait...hey, i'm gay. you're all right; i shouldn't like it when they say gay men are real men having real sex on their dvds, should i? i think i'm going to return my copy of trapped and lockdown right away. i've never been so offended. puhleeze.
Posted by: US Mario at May 14, 2008 7:15 PMRegarding Raging Stallion branching out into straight porn, that is an entirely separate issue, a business decision based, no doubt, on their wanting to use Ricky Sins to his full potential. That is an honest move; Falcon's foray into str8-dom is a cheap and hackneyed ploy to separate gay men from their cash.
Posted by: Will at May 14, 2008 9:13 PMWow. I'm barely related to this industry but I can tell these aren't fan comments. What a poisonous industry to be in. The industry is probably going to kill a large portion of itself because of the inability of the studios to all get together and work on solutions to some of the huge issues they ALL face right now. Those who think they are above or immune to current conditions will start falling away within the next 6 months to 1 year. Studios need to start consolidating with other studios or they will lose their companies completely. It's time to put ego's and and stubborness aside. Good luck everyone.
Posted by: AnusTwat at May 14, 2008 9:49 PMWhat a bunch of bitchy queens. Jesus do you have anything better to do then rip on Falcon? Get a life! You don't like it don't buy it. All this negativity I don't see any of you making sites or movies!
Posted by: Sean at May 15, 2008 11:46 AMSean - How in the freakin' world would you know that? These posts are ANONYMOUS!
Jeez, first someone complains that we're all obviously industry competitors, now this!
Posted by: Will at May 15, 2008 4:58 PMSomeone must be on Raging Stallion's payroll, eh Will? Hey - I just got another Falcon Mailer (these mailings just don't stop) - It featured their Mustang line. It says "Real Men. Real Sex."
What do you think that's all about?
Posted by: US Mario at May 16, 2008 4:59 PMSean - ". . .I don't see any of you making sites or movies!"
And how in blazes would you know that? These posts are ANONYMOUS!
Sheesh, first someone says we're just a bunch of jealous industry competitors, now this!
Posted by: Will at May 17, 2008 9:50 AMLOL you need a life. If you think I work for Falcon I just read this blog and all you guys do is bitch! I wonder why you read any of it at all.... If you notice I comment on every company... So grow up
Posted by: Sean at May 20, 2008 5:31 PMSean - Who the hell said you work for Falcon? Unlike you, I don't make assumptions about other posters.
Posted by: Will at May 21, 2008 10:06 AMOne more thing, Sean: GET A LIFE. (And stop telling others to get one. And stop using that tired phrase.)
Posted by: Will at May 21, 2008 10:12 AMstr8men? LOL! what ever. falcon has been loosing ground ever since the death of chuck holmes. with the fallout between rutherford and bean it left falcon in an even worse state. bean and johnson are bleeding the company dry, and thanks to a blundering montomery, falcon has lost all credibility. falcon str8men is a joke. hang it up falcon. better yet sell... get out of the biz, you've lost it.
Posted by: FierceTranny at May 21, 2008 11:57 AMSean - Are you saying that post with no name I addressed above was you? IF that's what you're saying, my apologies. I DID say you work for Falcon, and I still think so.
