Gay Porn Fire Sale
Everyone seems to be focusing on the devastating fire that ripped through legendary "flamming" gay bar Micky's on Tuesday. Many are wondering where/if Cocktails With The Stars will resume (official word: "it is currently on hold"). But that's not even the only gay porn real estate news this week ...
1028 Stratem Court, the Virginia Beach home where Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes ran their (apparently) lucrative prostitution ring and (allegedly) plotted to kill Cobra Video owner Bryan Kocis, has been placed on the market -- and is priced to move at $679,000, although early new reports estimated the home's value at $750k (aren't gay supposed bring up real estate prices?)
According to the online listing, the 4000 square foot, five bedroom house was built in 2005 and features such amenities as cathedral ceilings and a two car garage. For that price you'd hope they threw in the massage table, multiple-head shower and hot tub, a few of the pimped out features clients would get use of, according to a signed affidavit from a former John.
It also somewhat humorously boasts (and I quote): "THIS HOME IS PRICED TO SELL! HURRY!!! YOU WON'T FIND THIS SQUARE FOOTAGE & UPGRADES IN THE BEACH AREA FOR LESS. MOTIVATED SELLER!"
Judging from the amount of stuff the police seized from the house ($26,000 in cash, two large plasma TVs, four cars, etc) calling Cuadra and Kerekes "Motivated sellers" is the understatement of the year -- you've got to sell a lot of ass to buy four cars!
For eager bargain hunters looking to pick up a cheap house somehow related to the Gay Porn Murder Scandal of the year, looks like Harlow and Joe's house will be your only chance. The charred remains of Kocis's house, which was immolated after he was murdered, was demolished last Friday. WOW... I knew online streaming porn had it's profits but it is shocking that these 2 guys built such a nice house. I dont get into bareback porn but I would have pictured these two struggling to make it let alone this house and the luxury cars. The internet has made nobody porn stars filthy rich. Can you imagine how much Mike Branson would be making if his porn career was in the internet age?

Posted by: jt at August 24, 2007 1:13 AMI was going to put together a benefit for Harlow to help raise money for his cause in Boston. However, after dealing with some of the people running his blog, it was clear to me they are not from the same planet as the rest of us.
No one on his blog wants to deal with the facts. Instead they keep posting telling people it's a private blog and only the comments they like will be posted. If you post something they don't like, they will get a private investigator onto you. I KID YOU NOT. It was a very stressful two weeks attempting to do a nice thing for nothing.
In the end, I opted NOT to do a thing. Screw it. However, I do still stop by and read the Free Harlow Blog and it's the rants and raves of the old PTL club gone bad. Too bad Harlow can't find someone that could put a positive spin on his situation, instead of a spin that makes him look very very GUILTY.

I realize that you probably posted this entry (and the link to that blog) in good faith. However, you need to be aware that this blog you are linking to does not appear to be run by "casual observers" and, there appears to be some kind of "investigation" going on in VA over who in the District Attorney's Office and/or Court leaked information about Harlow's House and the Settlement of RICO claims before the settlement was signed and make public.
I just sent you an email about the latest conspiracy theory in this scandal. It does not sound credible but it makes for entertaining reading. The Conspiracy Theory links Harlow Cuadra to dead Republican Consultant Ralph Gonzales through an individual named Robert Jason Drake.

Get this, it was The Delaware Cobra Video LLC that sued Sean Lockhart in San Diego and the first contract The Delaware Cobra Video cited in the lawsuit was dated 2/11/05. The Delaware Cobra Video didn't even exist on 2/11/05
