Frankly, I was waiting for the cum shot.

NO TICKET - NO LAUNDRY!

Posted by: at December 14, 2006 11:48 PM

He's much hotter than Justin Timberlake, but that video is too reminiscent of 1990s gay porn videos (without the money shots) to be interesting...

Posted by: Jose at December 15, 2006 5:39 AM

I don't know about anyone else, but you'd be mad not to love this song... I have already downloaded mine at Itunes. Yeah! Fabu!

Good job Chi Chi on the video too! I love the little "Fabulous!" at the end! ;) Very Chosh!

Posted by: John Rutherford at December 15, 2006 6:59 AM

Love the song! Love the video!

Posted by: linda at December 15, 2006 8:03 AM

I have to say, I'm disappointed. I love the videos of him dancing, and this song just doesn't let him cut loose. "Spellbound" made me really like him-he was just so cute and joyous and into it. This is just, "eh." Limited voice, but charismatic, still. I don't think this plays to his strengths. Better luck next time.

Posted by: Tim at December 15, 2006 6:00 PM

Self-indulgent trite!

Posted by: Macdave at December 15, 2006 6:46 PM

He could use a coreographer to polish up the presentation, but not bad for a first effort.

Posted by: Moose at December 15, 2006 6:59 PM

I know Colton is one pissed off diva by now. :)

Posted by: nilla4me at December 16, 2006 10:21 AM

I actually dig the song but, the video- not so much. It looked like a gay porn video without the porn. It could have been sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than this.

Posted by: STARRFUCKER at December 16, 2006 12:55 PM

*YAWN* SOunds like everything else out there.... *YAWN*

PS
the vid was hella gay

Posted by: KaNeeQwah at December 16, 2006 2:08 PM

too hot for words! just listen and be warmed by Johnny Hazzards warm voice gettin deep into your melting ears! Just a must for xmas! hey lets hear more!

Posted by: jonicarbuf at December 16, 2006 4:01 PM

There is a reason porn people rarely make it in Hollywood...No Talent, Big Ego. Chi Chi can't direct herself out of a McDonalds and the music is awful. It makes Kevin Federline look talented.

Posted by: Mark H. at December 16, 2006 9:23 PM

Ugh.

Posted by: rick at December 17, 2006 5:24 AM

Very sexy...

Posted by: Aramo at December 17, 2006 9:02 AM

IT´S SO STUPID ALL THIS GAY WORLD. ITSHOULD BE JUST SEX AND EROTICS, NOT THIS WEIRD STUFF. i think so

Posted by: spainishgayboy at December 17, 2006 10:50 AM

Lamest thing I have seen.

But he is hot.

Posted by: Jay at December 17, 2006 11:48 AM

he should stick to porn

Posted by: at December 17, 2006 3:39 PM

Don't quit your gay job, Johnny!

Posted by: at December 18, 2006 1:45 AM

Indeed. Stick to porn... It is a Hazzard to one's sanity to watch this crap.

Posted by: SpareUs at December 18, 2006 6:58 AM

I like the song; already have it on my iPod but, the video was not as good. It was very porny. Completely in the same style of gay porn which sometimes could work but, just not here.

Posted by: STARRFUCKER at December 18, 2006 9:45 AM

Johnny has a voice reminiscent of Love and Rockets.Anyone remember So Alive? Love this single and the video is good.

Stick to Porn Please!!..i was also waiting 4 the money shot:-)

Posted by: Ronauldo at December 18, 2006 6:15 PM

No one to preach here..but i find it interesting that in the GAY community..these guys in sex films are idolized and called PORN STARS..there is nothing to idolize or label a STAR..when you're fucking for money..most r from broken homes and the end for most is dismal..not to mention DRUGS..DISEASES ..and PRISON as of late...i know a few who wishes they had never entered the business..be it for cash or otherwise...it would be cool to lookup to other aspects of the GAY community..which dosen't always have to involve SEX..BODYS..CIRCUIT PARTIES..DRUGS..don't get me wrong i watch porn..but i put it in its rightful place in my life..i get off and thats the only purpose it serves..will never date any involved in that industry..BUT ENJOY THE VIDEOS..:-)

Posted by: Ronauldo at December 18, 2006 6:33 PM

I thought the song was boring. Best to watch the the volume off. In that way, it's really like porn.

Posted by: HotStuff at December 18, 2006 7:16 PM

You go boy! Negative comments... JEALOUS!?! How many individuals out there can say they were contacted after having over a 100k hits of a short silly vid clip of themselves dancing on YouTube.com... DUDE, for God's sake man, yer on iTunes...lol

And I can't think of anyone more deserving!!! Congrats... Johnny can I be a back-up singer... Ya know the dancing's out...lol

MUCH RASCAL LOVE-
TYLER

Posted by: Tyler Riggz at December 19, 2006 4:57 AM

No. No, no, no, no, no. Noooooooooo.

Posted by: Buzz at December 19, 2006 9:59 AM

OMG, that is SO funny. Johnny doesn't have a day job, darling! I think you'll find that bitchy quips will often get a laugh and perhaps even some sympathy; however, when you employ clichés to express bitterness that is never the case.

Posted by: jeragogo at December 19, 2006 10:09 AM

I have to say I think it's a really great song and the video looks terrific. I don't understand why people get so worked up over it because it's not some David LaChapelle extravaganza.

Lighten up people and take it for what it is: A porn star singing a song.

Posted by: johnny at December 19, 2006 10:23 AM

Jeragogo,

Try reading that person's post more carefully. I read ". . .your GAY job, Johnny." not "day" as the version you attacked. I thought his little double-entendre was kind of funny and basically harmless.

I will say that psychologically analyzing a "bitchy quip" on a blog may not speak of the bitterness of which you accuse others but it could indicate a certain need to appear more intelligent and/or astute than one actually is - just a thought.

I guess the moral of this story is that labeling someone "jealous", "bitter", etc. based on one or two lines in a porn blog is VERY juvenile and rather idiotic.

Hoping to impress Johnny with your young spirit? Maybe you can show him your awesome stickers. He might like that.

Good luck to you and may you get all
your (other) Christmas wishes!

Merry Merry!

Posted by: wow at December 19, 2006 1:11 PM

Wow, You're right! I misread that comment and now feel like a total idiot. :-(

While I stand by my previous statement, since it was based on my error, I send my apologies to the anonymous word play puppet.

As for impressing Johnny, well, I do that on a weekly basis. One time I even did it with stickers!

Posted by: jeragogo at December 19, 2006 4:55 PM

*sigh*

Yet another wannabe sardonic poseur ("wordplay" is one word, dear) boring us to no end. If you're going to try to turn a phrase, first learn how to spell.

Really - I'd love to hang around and await what I'm sure will be your brilliant retort but it is Christmastime and I have lots more shopping to do.

I'll light a candle for you at Midnight Mass.

Bye

Posted by: wow at December 20, 2006 11:57 PM

YAWN.....wake me up when this is over.....

Posted by: KaNeeQwah at December 21, 2006 3:27 PM

Justin who? Johnny H is the real man bringing sexy back.
Great song - great vid -

Posted by: Tal at December 22, 2006 1:12 PM

Wow, If my sincere apology bored you I'm certain an expression of gratitude is sure to try your nerves, but I cannot resist. Thank you so much for relieving my anxiety over looking like such a fool here. Your interpretation of my response as a snide comeback only serves to make you look like a supreme asshole. Enjoy Midnight Mass and be sure to play close attention when they get to the part about peace and goodwill, etc. That's the best bit.

P.S. Try to avoid dropping prepositions in the future. It is always courteous to avoid steps that force your readers to backtrack.

Posted by: jeragogo at December 22, 2006 4:10 PM

This is just really bad, to repeat what others have said.

Posted by: pc at December 22, 2006 9:27 PM

KUDOS! A sexy and desirously classy video, accompanied by a HOT lyrical mix that captures the mind body and soul. Who needs Antonio Banderas, you have it all Johnny, I hope you find someone to share it with. Those of you looking for a gratuitous cock shot grow up....

Posted by: Borzene at December 29, 2006 11:04 AM

KUDOS! I love the composition, lyrics and message. Who needs Antonio Banderas, you have it all and I hope you find someone special to share it with some day. Those of you waiting for a gratuitous cock shot grow up and pretend you have some class.

Jeragogo, if you are the same one on YouTube who has posted the previous JH videos, then it might help to let others know that you have a working relationship with JH. Not everyone is cognizant of your relationship with Johnny, and your oblique references don't add anything. Also, everyone is allowed their opinion, (that said, Tyler could you be more of a suckbutt?). Love your work though!

As someone who loves the video of JH dancing to "Moving into Light", I wasn't very impressed with this. There are a couple of reasons for this. 1) The song itself, I don't find it particularly sexy and it certainly isn't as fun or catchy as "MiL" was. 2) Johnny's dancing was stilted and choppy. In MiL, he looks spontaneous like he is on a dance floor having a great time. Here he looks awkward and self-conscious. 3) the look of the video itself. The lighting and the lipsynching were weird and made JH look bad. In the MiL video, the lighting was perfect! He looked healthy and if I has seen him on a dance floor....Woof! But this video, he is all washed out and it is very unattractive, and with JH that seems pretty hard to do. Also, if he sang the song in real life (I don't know if that was him or not singing), the lip synching was off just enough to make it noticeable.

It is funny, if you had told me that Chi Chi directed this, I wouldn't have believed it, because she always seems to make her stars look good. Maybe she was having an off day.

I know that for me, it was disappointing because I watch the MiL video just about everyday for the infectious energy that JH gives off in it. I didn't feel that energy at all watching this video.

Posted by: Fritz at January 1, 2007 3:05 AM

Fritz, I don't see how my working relationship with Johnny changes the perception of my contribution here. It's not like I'm pretending to be someone else in the hope of generating positive reception of this project.

You may be surprised to find that I agree with you on all points. I don't think any of us involved were satisfied with the results we achieved here. Unfortunately, we had to whip something up and as is often the case under these circumstances, we had to make due.

It is very gratifying to me that you enjoy the MIL video - and watch it frequently. That is without question my very favorite project to date and I also watch it often. Considering the number of times I had to view it during the editing process you can imagine the significance of that statement.

Your perception of both videos is right on the money. MIL was completely unplanned (as was the Spellbound video) and Deeper Into You was horribly forced and Johnny wasn't all that familiar with the track at the time. The song was written for him, but he didn't really hear it until many weeks after he laid down the vocal track. In addition, this song isn't reworked for the dance floor and therefore lacks the complexity and energy that drives Johnny to move as previously seen in his other work. Don't get me wrong, I very much like Deeper Into You, but this version wasn't engineered for the dance floor.

I'm very impressed with what you had to say and overjoyed that you like (some of) what we have done. You can be assured of much more to follow in the coming months!

Posted by: jeragogo at January 4, 2007 7:51 PM

I love how people always try to make themselves feel better about their pathetic lives by degrading others such as porn stars. We are quite happy with ourselves thank you, and not all of us come from broken homes, are on drugs or were abused. Many of us are college educated and have taken charge of our sexuality by bringing it to the forefront of society instead of hiding in some cheap quarter booth jerking off wishing we were the guy in the video. Keep your judgements to yourselves about our lives. I know many people who wish they would not have gotten involved in lots of types of work. Porn is no different than any other job there are good people, bad people, educated people, ignorant people, people on drugs, people not on drugs, abused and non abused. As far as the video is concerned. Good for you Johnny...not everyone can say they were downloaded on itunes and most of these twats are just jealous that they will never be. You are very multi-talented and its nice to see someone try to expand their horizons into different venues.

Posted by: Chad Hunt at January 12, 2007 9:59 PM

Wow - Chad(if it is indeed him)is not only a porn travesty (big on dick, small on looks) - he's as stupid as a box of hair, too!

His windy rant reads as though it were written by a disaffected teenager rather than a porn star who looks like he's well into his 40s.

I know people who have been and are currently in the porn industry. Some of them are wonderful, intelligent, talented people (and not just they're the object of millions of gay fantasies).

I don't think anyone should "degrade" Johnny or any other porn stars for their choice of profession but has the possibility that Johnny CANNOT sing ever occured to you? He's sexy (and quite possibly intelligent) and I wish him all the best but he's NOT a talented singer. Instead of whining about how you're not being taken seriously because of what you do try a little honesty and get over that American Idol "fame is more important than talent" mindset.

Are some people SO dense that they actually think he's a talented singer simply because they want to fuck him? Come on! Isn't that something teenyboppers do? Though when someone like Chad expresses himself in the voice of a fourteen year-old girl might what else can we expect from him. His arguments reminded me of people who argue that a film MUST be good because it won a lot of Oscars or that a musician is GREAT because he's sold a lot of albums or has won a lot of Grammies. I've heard of trend-driven consumerists but this is ridiculous!

Popularity usually equals quality from an immature perspective.

Chad, you're WELL out of your teenage years so how about acting like it. Or will you retort with your best version of:

"You just, like, totally, don't, like get it and you're, like so, obviously, like, totally jealous!"

?
