Joey Stefano Auction, Continued
The Joey Stefano crappy gym clothes auction -- currently with three bids, at $51 -- gets weirder. I clicked view seller's other items and Mickey Skee's since put up Joey Stefano's pink, blue, and yellow dildos "kept hidden" by Karen Dior for "safe keeping" (adult verification required). Not to split hairs, but these look more like vibrators than dildos. Hey! And speaking of hairs! He's also put up a lock of Joey's hair (currently no bids, starting at $49.99).
If there was something morbid about a dead person's clothes, found in another dead person's closet, then a set of used dildos -- part of the "infamous dildo collection collected & used by the late great adult super-bottom" -- is like, well, I don't really know what you would call it beyond just gross. Sex toys sort of discolor over time. They harden and tend to crack. It's just not sanitary, and violates eBay's terms of use. Plus, well, if you can get past the cleanliness issues, they just seem cursed, like the Hope Diamond of sex toys. Call me old fashioned but I like the things I stick up my ass to not have been up anyone else's -- dead or alive, Tsunami relief or not. Besides, I can think of some better ways to remember Joey.
Not to mention that a cursory scan of Mr. Skee's other auctions include some of the latest DVD release screeners. Tsk, tsk ... how could the famed "author/adult film historian" have reviewed them if they're still "factory sealed"? And if he's so hard up for money, how do we really know the proceeds are going to the Red Cross -- or that any of the items in question are authentic at all?
