Gay Porn Stars Who Blog
OK, so the topic of this entry might seem a bit obvious, since this is the gay porn blog but I've not had the easiest time finding gay porn stars who blog. Any porn star worth his weight in Eros has a web site, but surpisingly few have blogs that go beyond being their hooker travel schedule.
Given America's new-found love affair with porn, you might think that they'd be willingly exploiting themselves via the blog. Monster, Michael Brandon's penis, had his own journal of course, but seems to have been on hiatus since August 2004.
The first porn star to blog, technically, was Jeff Palmer. Gay porn's own typhoid Mary (I can't remember who called him that, but it's fitting) has been writing what he calls "The Scoop" on his web site for at least four years. The Scoop is less of a blog and more of a record of all the semen he's eaten that day (you'd be surprised how much, actually), occasionally peppered with a misogynist rant (unless it's Venus and Serena Williams! He loves his tennis.) Amidst his HIV-denialist rants he gives mad props Jesus. It's precious. His Blog used to be free, but now he charges. Two rising stars -- both in the gay porn world and in the blogosphere are boyfriends Hunter James and Damon DeMarco. The two NYC residents are both totally adorable and are smart enough to post enough underwear-clad snapshots of each other to keep me (and countless others, I'm sure,) coming back for more. Not that they need to -- they're funny and entertaining and shit. If you haven't already, check their blogs out ... I'm sure you'll be hooked.
Otherwise (besides Gus Mattox, whose blog I've mentioned a billion times), that's pretty much it. Am I overlooking any obvious ones? Anyone, anyone?
