Hardcore from U.K.
I knew that England only allowed softcore porn to be distributed in the past, but I was not aware that they recently relaxed their laws concerning distribution of hardcore videos. I look forward to more material and hot guys coming from the UK. (And I've finally found a reason to show that amazing photo I shot in London in 1998!)

July 30th, 2003 (Hollywood, CA) - It was announced today that Sports & Recreation Video has acquired rights to the first two titles produced by UK-based Millivres Prowler Group's Zipper Video line. The titles, "The White Room" and "Quicksilver," were both directed by Prowler exec Sean Spence, and are the first major gay XXX features produced in the UK since the laws pertaining to gay adult video production were relaxed over two years ago. As part of the deal, MPG has acquired UK rights to Sports & Recreation Video's Open Trench Video line, including the award-winning "Open Trench Vol. 1" and "Open Trench Vol. 2."
Producer/Director Drew Warner stated "I am thrilled to expand my deal with Millivres Prowler in UK with this long-term agreement. Our past relationship, and their enthusiasm towards marketing my projects in the UK, were the building blocks for this extensive package. To have been granted the rights to distribute their first two UK-produced videos in the US is icing on the cake! Both "The White Room" and "Quicksilver" are packed full of hot new British talent and some of the best sex toy play I have seen on the market. Director Sean Spence has brought UK adult video production to the forefront of the international market with "The White Room" and "Quicksilver." I look forward to my continued relationship with Zipper Video and Millivres Prowler."
Sports & Recreation Video has worked with Millivres Prowler for several years, licensing SRV product for distribution in the UK through Zipper Video, the Prowler retail outlets and MPG publications.

Personally I've always been a fan of Drew Warner's work, and over the past couple of years it's given me the inspiration to try and produce similarly high quality videos in the UK. I'm therefore extremely please that my first two films, "The White Room" (the UK's best-ever selling gay porno) and "Quicksilver" (2nd best-selling!), will be distributed by Sports & Rec in America. I'll rest happy knowing that my films are in the hands of someone I both admire, respect, and fancy the bollocks off!"
Warner plans on releasing "The White Room" on both DVD and VHS in late September, with "Quicksilver" being released the end of the 2003. All Zipper Video titles will be branded under the Sports & Recreation Video label and will be available in mail-order through www.GayPornStudio.com. Wholesale sales of the titles will be handled by Sports & Recreation Video's wholesale distributor International Media Distributors of Laguna Hills, CA.
