Ricki Lake Show

The Billy Brandt appearance on Ricki Lake yesterday was a joke. Typical of this type of show, the premise was lame, the guests were fake, and the producers tried to stir up a controversy that wasn't there. Then do it all over again the next day with new guests on a new topic.

This type of show has only about a dozen basic themes that they have to recycle 5 times a week. Despite it all, Ricki is still charming, attentive and professional. But how does she sleep at night?

Finally, the trash daytime talk show era is about to end. Jerry Springer, Jenny Jones and Ricki Lake have all announced this is their last season.

The only talk show worth watching is Sister Roma's Weekly Report. This week's guest is Jacob Scott.
