As if those poor millennials were not already having a difficult enough time in the job market. A 23 year-old Chicago man received the offer he was waiting for. Naturally, he was up for celebrating and send a picture of just how excited he was. Then he sent another. While this epic fail did cost him the new job, he learned a valuable life lesson; Never send you wang to the wong number.

More from the NY Daily News:

Naked ambition cost a 23-year-old Illinois man the job.

He nailed the interview at an unnamed suburban Chicago company, but went from hired to fired when he accidentally sent a naked selfie to the human resources manager last month, Elmhurst Police said.

“There was a conditional offer of employment made to this particular applicant,” Elmhurst Police Chief Michael Ruth told the Chicago Tribune. “He texted the HR director and sent a nude photo of himself.”

It was unclear who sent the sext at first, but when the prospective employee called in to the St. Charles company the next day, the HR manager recognized the phone number and called police on Aug. 14.

“(Police) contacted the offender who admitted to sending the photographs, explaining they were actually meant for another individual and were sent to the victim in error,” according to the incident report.

The victim declined to press charges. But the man, from nearby Aurora, didn’t land the job.

“My understanding is they’ve rescinded the offer of employment,” Ruth said.

Call it a selfie destructive moment.
